The name "JahRoots" honors the deep cultural soil of the Caribbean — the music, the languages, the kitchens, the rituals — that have always traveled outward and shaped the world. Our list begins there and reaches across the Global South, from the West Indies to West Africa, from Southeast Asia to Latin America.
What we believe.
That a book is a small, durable technology for changing minds. That stories from the Global South are not regional curiosities — they are global ideas. That authors deserve patient editors, careful design, and honest distribution.
